My name is Ally. I have recently moved from New Orleans, Louisiana to Ashdod, Israel to participate in the Masa Israel Teaching Fellowship program. I grew up in a little town outside Boston, Massachusetts. I have an amazing dog named Rufus, who I am obsessed with. Rufus is staying with my parents while I am in Israel, and I miss him so much. This is my third time in Israel, I’m hoping to finally learn some Hebrew. I have Celiac Disease and have a lot of misadventures trying to maintain my gluten free diet, especially when there is a language barrier.
